Not the Met Gala

Nope.   Yesterday evening, The Biker had a heart attack.

Fuck.

I drove him to emergency - luckily, just three minutes down the road - and they got him stabilized, and then he was transported to Boise to have another stent put in.

That's been done.  He came through it like a champ!  And he's coming home tomorrow!

This is his second heart attack.  He had the first one seven years ago in the middle of being monitored on a treadmill at the hospital, so he was definitely in the right place if he absolutely had to have a heart attack. It was handled quickly and they sent him home.  He hung out for a few days and then he was back to normal.

This time he was lying in bed reading.

I guess this is how it goes.  Ya get old.

    1. I asked and he was attempting to set up a 'patients portal' online in order to deal with the hospital and sign forms and review his charts and so forth, and Mr. Internet was not co operating. At all.

  6. Crikey! Poor Biker. And poor you. Still, home after a day must mean that he's strong and resilient. Best wishes to both him and you.

P.S. Was moving to somewhere near a hospital/medical facilities part of the plan, or was it just a very fortuitous coincidence?

  7. I'm sorry to hear that I hope all is well now. It must have been an exciting read to promote a heart attack.

Joey B vs the world, introduced me to the Met Gala horror show, what on Earth was the Snow White actress doing with her face.
